Merriam-Webster 所列最早英语用例为1548年，源于拉丁 abdicātus（abdicāre 的过去分词）。AHD／OALD 分析为 ab- 离开／自 + dicāre 宣布；MW 将 -dicāre 解释为 dīcere 中 dīc- 的元音交替派生形式。所核辞书指向拉丁借入，并未确立法语必经中介；最早年代限于该辞书记录。

TLFi 记录法语 abdiquer 约1375年的放弃权力用例，并注明借自拉丁 abdicare；法语出现较早不自动证明英语经法语借入。

啼 tí: 出声哭；鸟兽鸣叫；不是一般宣布。汉典详细解释／说文转录支持哭号范围；古义为平台中介，纸本待核。

谛 dì: 仔细、道理、细察详审；不支持 SAY。平台康熙转录另列啼通用读义，未据此升级现代 dì。

啼≠declare：哭叫、鸟兽鸣叫不等于一般命题性言说。

ab- 在此表离开／分离，不能简化为普通否定前缀。

法语表面切分风险：abdiquer 不能证明独立 diquer=说。

di-cā-re 与英语 abdicate 各三音节，对 tí 一音节。
